"Le Projet de Masque le plus Splendide et de Ventilateur"

I was recently involved in an amazing project over at PaperWhimsy hosted by the wonderful Gale Blair.
It is January 3, 1776, and Marie Antoinette, now the Dauphine of France, is soon to be on holiday in Nice. She plans to celebrate Le Carnaval and had commissioned her finest couturières to come up with an amazing masque and ventilateur in order to hide her identity. But, alas! The royal couturières have not come up with a design that pleases Her Majesty. It is now up to you... My dear Artistes Extraordinaire... to create the most magnificent, indeed, the most splendid mask and fan befitting The Dauphine of France...
I had so much fun with this project it was hard to decide a colour to chose but well it had to be pink for me......
